Maryland - Netherlands Cybersecurity Soft Landing Program
ABOUT THIS TALK
Last year, Maryland and the Netherlands initiated a multi-year cybersecurity soft landing program to help cybersecurity companies in both countries explore business opportunities overseas. Under the program, a set of Maryland cybersecurity startups go to the Hague Security Delta, the largest security cluster in Europe, each year to learn about the EU market. Dutch firms, in turn, come to bwtech@UMBC to pursue business here.
This talk, held at bwtech@UMBC incubator, discusses what a soft landing is, the origins of the program, benefits and lessons learned, and how the Maryland Tech sector can continue to expand globally.
